Author Biographies

Linda D Bosserman, MD, PhD, AASECT, FASCO, FACP, is a Professor at the Department of Medical Oncology and Research Therapeutics at City of Hope National Medical Center. She completed her MD studies, internship, and residency at Stanford University Medical School, her oncology fellowship at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, and her PhD in Clinical Sexology at the Modern Sex Therapy Institute. She is AASECT-certified and has been awarded FACP and FASCO honors. She was the senior author and a founding member of ASCO's Pathways Task Force and its three pathway manuscripts. She has been a leader in value-based oncology care for 20 years and now leads the Pathways and Protocols Program for the City of Hope enterprise. She has published over 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals on clinical trials, oncology science, and value-based care. She has served on many ASCO committees, on the ASCO board of directors, as an editor for the Clinical Oncology journal for 15 years, and as editor-in-chief of ASCO's Journal of Oncology Practice. She is a member of ASCO, AASECT, and ISSWSH. Her teaching has focused on breast cancer, value-based oncology care, oncology pathways, and international medicine. Additional teaching and her current clinical focus are on understanding and addressing hormonal and sexual toxicities in patients with cancer.
