Mr. Kazuki Suehiro received a B.S. degree in engineering from Nagasaki University, Nagasaki, Japan, in 2023. He plans to obtain an M.E. degree from Kyushu University in 2025. He is currently pursuing an M.E. at the Graduate School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering. He is engaged in research on and the design of small, planar, flexible array antennas.
Mr. Kenta Nakashima received a B.S. degree in engineering from Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, in 2024. He plans to obtain an M.E. degree from Kyushu University in 2026. He is currently pursuing an M.E. at the Graduate School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering. He is engaged in research on and the design of small antennas for 28GHz bands.
Mr. Kenji Ito received a B.S. degree and an M.E. degree in engineering from Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, in 2022 and 2024, respectively. He is currently working as a systems engineer. He has been engaged in research on and the design of compact, metal-compatible, planar, flexible dipole antennas for RFID.
Ms. Eriko Aibara received a B.S. degree in engineering from Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, in 2023. She plans to obtain an M.E. degree in Engineering from Kyushu University in 2025. She is currently pursuing an M.E. at the Graduate School of Civil Engineering. She is engaged in research on the building of waste treatment systems.
Mr. Koji Sakakibara received a B.S. degree in chemical engineering and an M.E. degree in Materials and Biological Engineering from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 1992 and 1994, respectively. In 1994, he joined the Environmental Design Division of the Hitachi Zosen Corporation. In 2022, he also worked as a Contract Researcher with the Department of Urban and Environmental Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan. Currently, he is engaged in research on waste treatment and resource circulation modeling using IoT technology.
Prof. Haruichi Kanaya received a B.S. degree in physics from Yamaguchi University, Yamaguchi, Japan, in 1990, and an M.E. degree in applied physics and a D.E. degree from Kyushu University in 1992 and 1994, respectively. In 1994, he became a Research Fellow (PD) of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. In 1998, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, USA. He is currently engaged in the study and design of RF CMOS devices and energy harvesting devices, and miniaturized, planar, flexible, or array antennas, and is working as a Professor with the Department of Electronics (Graduate School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering) and a Director at the Education Center for Semiconductors and Value Creation, Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan.
