Ana Sofia Duque has a Ph.D. in Tourism, Leisure, and Culture from the University of Coimbra (Portugal). She is a Guest Adjunct Professor in the School of Technology and Management at Polytechnic Institute of Viseu
(Portugal). Her Ph.D. thesis was on tourist satisfaction in historical centers, for which she won a prize delivered by TCP - Turismo Centro de Portugal. She is a researcher at CEGOT - Center for Studies in Geography and Spatial Planning and at CiTUR - Center for Tourism Research, Development and Innovation (Polytechnic of Leiria). Her research interests are sustainable tourism, tourist itineraries, and tourism planning.
