KeunBaDa Son received his master’s and doctoral degrees in prosthodontics from the Department of Dental Science at the
Graduate School of Kyungpook National University, focusing on a subject related to digital dentistry. His research was centered around the topic of how dental CAD/CAM systems can assist dental clinicians in creating convenient and accurate dental prostheses. In 2022, he was honored with the MINEC Grand Prize, the highest award in digital dentistry, conferred by the Korean Dental Association. After earning his degrees, he continued his research as a Research Professor at the Advanced Dental Device Development Institute, School of Dentistry, Kyungpook National University.
Jong Hoon Lee was born in 1975. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Graduate School of Electrical Engineering
and Computer Science, Kyungpook National University (KNU), Daegu, Korea, in 2000 and 2007, respectively. He joined the Photonic Network Research Lab (PNRL) at KAIST as a post-doctoral researcher 2007. He worked at the Electronics and
Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) from 2009 to 2011 as a senior researcher. Since 2012, he has been a research professor at the Laser Application Center (LAC) of Kyungpook National University (KNU). His major interests include laser material processing and biophotonic techniques.
