Prof. Dr. Fei-Yi Hung has been a Professor at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, at National Cheng Kung University since 2014, where he obtained his PhD in 2002. After graduating with a PhD, he started his career at the National Cheng Kung University. He first served as a Postdoctoral researcher (2002/01–2007/05), then appointed to Assistant Professor at the Institute of Nan-Technology (2007/05–2011/07), Associate Professor at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (2011/08–2014/07). He alson served as the Deputy Director at the Research & Services Headquarters (2012/08–2013/01) and was the Deputy Director at the Technology Transfer & Business Incubation Center (2013/02–2014/02). His research interests are the anode/cathode of batteries; metal and biomaterials; micro/nano wires; microelectronic materials; opto-electronic thin films; and powder/coating.
