Kang Meng received his B.S. degree in engineering mechanics from Henan University of Science and Technology, Luoyang, China, in 2022 and his M.S. degree in mechanics from China University of Petroleum (East China), Qingdao, China, in 2025. His research interests include oil and gas well perforation dynamics and structural strength and reliability.
Guigen Ye (M’20) received his Ph.D. degree in engineering mechanics from China University of Petroleum, Qingdao, China,
in 2012. From 2013 to 2015, he was a Post Doctor in the State Key Laboratory of Nonlinear Mechanics, Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. Since 2018, he has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Engineering
Mechanics, China University of Petroleum. Now, he is a visiting scholar in the Delft University of Technology, Delft, the Netherlands. His research interests include microelectronics, structural strength and reliability, thermal/mechanical behaviors of metallic materials in high-rate loading, and multiscale modeling.
