Peng Liu has been teaching at Changchun University of Science and Technology since 2002. He obtained his Ph.D. in International Information Communication from Waseda University in 2012. He has served as an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at North China Electric Power University since 2012. From 2015 to 2017, Dr. Liu held the position of Vice Mayor of
Yangzhong City. Since 2017, he has been the Director of the Intelligent Electric Research Center of North China Electric Power University and the Executive Director of Yangzhong Intelligent Electric Research Center of North China Electric Power University. His research interests encompass wireless optical
communication, visible light communication technology, broadband power line carrier technology, pan-power IoT chip development, scalable smart microgrid engineering and technology, deep learning-based intelligent video analysis technology, and novel power IoT chip technology.
