Guoqiu Lü received her BA and MA in English literature from Central South University, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. Now, she is pursuing a PhD in religious studies at Fudan University, China. She works as a lecturer at the Central South University of Forestry and Technology (2007–now). Her research topics mainly include the following: religious studies; Roman religion; and religion and literature.
