Dr Aleksandar Dimitrijević is an Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Niš. He completed his PhD studies in Computer Science at the same faculty. He has published 13 papers in various journals, and serves as a reviewer for several high-impact journals. His teaching disciplines include computer graphics, Internet of things, computer networks, data structures, computer animation, virtual and
augmented reality systems, microcomputer systems, and human–computer interaction, and his interests include geographic information systems and out-of-core planet-sized terrain rendering.
Peter A. Strobl graduated with an MSc in Geophysics (1991) from the University of Munich and holds a PhD (2000) in Remote Sensing from the University of Potsdam. He works as Principal Scientist at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Ispra, Italy. His interests mainly concern data architecture and interoperability in the frame of the Copernicus Earth Observation programme, including the definition of standards, references, and quality metrics for geospatial data. He serves as member or chair of various international working groups and advisory panels in the field of earth observation and geospatial data.
