Dr. Kui Cheng is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Northeast Agricultural University's College of Engineering. He is the deputy director of the Heilongjiang Intelligent Soil International Joint Laboratory and a key member of the Ministry of Education's Cold Region Habitat Health International Joint Laboratory. He received his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and Technology at Harbin Engineering University in 2010 and completed his Doctor of Materials Science and Technology at Harbin Engineering University in 2014. He was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2018, then worked as an associate professor in the College of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering at Harbin Engineering University (2017-2019). He has been selected as a high-level talent in Heilongjiang Province, a young outstanding scientist in Heilongjiang Province, a young excellent scientist in Heilongjiang Province, a Longjiang Scholar Program, a Xiangjiang Scholar Program, a list of the top 2% of scientists in the world from 2020 to 2024, and an Outstanding Scholar Program of Northeast Agricultural University.
