Shishir Sarker is a PhD candidate in Geological Sciences at the University of Kentucky and serves as an Environmental Scientist in the Water Quality Branch of the Kentucky Division of Water. He earned his Master's degree in Environmental Studies from Florida International University in 2018 and his Bachelor of Science in Geography and Environment from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. His research focuses on karst hydrogeology, microbial water quality assessment, and Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) and watershed modeling.
