Antonio Dichev earned his Master’s Degree in Financial Management from the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics. He is currently a PhD candidate in the doctoral program “Finance, Money Circulation, and Insurance (Finance),” focusing his dissertation on the application of machine learning as a tool for financial risk assessment. His research interests primarily encompass quantitative risk assessment, risk management, quantitative finance, data science, and the application of machine learning in finance.
Silvia Zarkova is a PhD in Economics in the PhD program "Finance, Money Circulation, Credit and Insurance (Finance)" with a dissertation in the field of debt management – "Problems and Challenges to Public Debt Management in the Euroarea (Following the Example of Greece and Italy)". Currently, Silvia Zarkova is an assistant professor at the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics and an expert in the field of Economics and Management of the Association of Young Scientists in Bulgaria. Her research interests are in the field of public finance, international finance, local finance and debt management. She has been awarded three times with the prestigious award of the Union of Economists in Bulgaria "Young Economist" (as a student, PhD student and young scientist); winner of the "Doctoral Student of the Year" award of the National Representation of Student Councils in 2019 and other prestigious awards.
Petko Angelov is a Doctor of Economics in the doctoral program "Finance, Money Circulation, Credit and Insurance (Finance)" with a defended dissertation in the field of debt management - "Government Debt and Economic Growth - Theoretical and Empirical Aspects". Currently, Petko Angelov is the head assistant professor at the Academy of Economics "D. A. Tsenov", Svishtov, Bulgaria. His research interests are in public finance, debt management, budgeting, municipal taxation and the circular economy.
