WanRong Wu received his bachelor’s degree and doctorate in
mechanical engineering from Central South University of Technology in 1986 and
1999, respectively. He has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in
the fields of electromechanical hydraulic (gas) integrated control technology,
hydraulic impact vibration design theory and detection technology, hydraulic
excitation design theory and control technology, rock efficient grinding and
multi-body impact friction and wear mechanism, etc. He has presided over or
participated in more than 40 National Natural Science Foundation projects,
national key R&D plan projects, military key engineering projects and
enterprise horizontal projects. He has won one second prize in the National
Science and Technology Progress Award, one first prize in the Hunan Science and
Technology Progress Award, and one third prize in the China Nonferrous Metals
Industry Science and Technology Progress Award. He has published more than 100
academic papers and has been granted more than 40 invention patents. His
research interests include electromechanical hydraulic (gas) integrated control
technology, hydraulic impact vibration design theory and detection technology,
hydraulic excitation design theory and control technology, and rock
high-efficiency grinding and multi-body impact friction and wear mechanism.
