Pradeep Vyawahare is an Energy Systems Analyst in the Energy Systems and Infrastructure Analysis (ESIA) Division at Argonne National Laboratory. His research is focused on the life cycle analysis and techno-economic analysis of hydrogen through its entire value chain, assessment of hydrogen blending in NG infrastructure, and its applications. He leads the development of hydrogen technology pathways in Argonne’s GREET (Greenhouse gases, Regulated Emissions, and Energy use in Technologies) model. Pradeep Vyawahare has co-authored numerous articles in the domain of life cycle analysis (LCA), techno-economic analysis (TEA), and gas–mixture separations. Further adding to his scientific credentials, Dr. Vyawahare holds a patent for a multicomponent gas adsorption model, showcasing its significance in the practical application of gas–mixture separations. Dr. Vyawahare’s contributions have been acknowledged through prestigious accolades such as Argonne’s 2022 and 2023 Impact Argonne Award and the Department of Energy’s 2023 Hydrogen Program R&D award. His academic qualifications include an MS and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University. His work within the field of energy systems analysis has been instrumental and it will continue to shape our sustainable energy future.
