Chang Xu received his B.S. degree in Thermal Engineering and his M.S. degree in Engineering Thermal Physics from Northeastern University in 1997 and 2000, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Power Machinery and Engineering from Southeast University in 2005. He is currently a Professor at the College of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering, at Hohai University. He is presently engaged in teaching and research on aerodynamics and the optimal control of wind farms. His current research interests include renewable energy development and technology.
