Alfredtina Akua Abrafi Appiah received her BSc. Hons. in minerals engineering from the University of Mines and Technology in 2021, and is now pursuing her PhD in geometallurgy at the University of Tasmania, Center for Ore Deposit and Earth Sciences. She worked as a research assistant at the University of Mines and Technology (2021–2022). Her research topics mainly include flotation, acid mine drainage remediation, ore characterization, and extraction of critical metals.
