Prof. Changxi Ma graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a bachelor's degree in transportation engineering in 2002, and received a master's degree and a doctorate degree from Lanzhou Jiaotong University in 2008 and 2013. Since he started working at the School of Transportation of Lanzhou Jiaotong University in July 2002, he has been mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in the fields of dangerous goods transportation safety, transportation system optimization and design, and intelligent transportation. He is a Professor and Master's Supervisor in the School of Traffic and Transportation at Lanzhou Jiaotong University. He is the Chairman of the Traffic Operation Safety Technical Committee of the World Transport Conference, a member of the Standing Committee of the Young Scientists and Technologists Committee of the China Transport Association, a member of the Intelligent Transportation Professional Committee of the China Artificial Intelligence Society, a member of the OpenITS Research Program Alliance, a member of the Editorial Committee of the Traffic Engineering Professional Textbook of the Transportation Edition of Higher Education Institutions, an expert in smart city construction and management in Gansu Province, and a judge for the National College Intelligent Transportation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
