Gang Zhang received his PhD in Material Science and Engineering from the Lanzhou University of Technology in 2017. He worked as an associate professor at the school of Materials Science and Engineering (2018–2023). In 2024, he worked as a professor at the school of Materials Science and Engineering. His research topics mainly include arc-based additive manufacturing, microstructure and mechanical properties.
