A Herreros received a B.Sc. degree in physics (1996), an M.S. degree in business administration (2015), and an M.Eng. degree in electronic engineering (2022). He has developed his professional career in the environmental sector, with a background of 26 years in IT management, consultancy and auditing. From 2017, as senior internal auditor in a Multinational Group, his work has contributed to the risk management in more than 20 countries and on a wide range of business processes and topics: finance, purchase, treasury, legal, GDPR, ethics, IT, construction projects, cybersecurity, crisis management and efficiency projects. Since 2018, he is member of the Internal Audit and Internal Control French Institute (IFACI).
Rafael Magdalena (B.Sc. Physics 1991, Ph.D. Physics 2000) is a researcher at the University of Valencia since 1994. His research work began in biomedical engineering, and since 2003 he has been conducting his research in the area of machine learning. He is currently Dean of the Engineering School of the University of Valencia. He has 50 international publications, 100 conference communications and 25 books and book chapters. He has also participated in several national and international projects and in enterprise contracts.
J. Vila-Francés studied Telecommunication Engineering and Electronics Engineering, both with first-class honors, at the University of Valencia (Spain). In 2009, he received a Ph.D. Degree in Electronics Engineering. He currently holds a Ph.D. Associate Professor position. He has skills on Industrial Systems and Digital Electronics, Computing, Database Management and Web development, as well as machine learning and data mining techniques. His main research area is the advanced data analysis through computational intelligent techniques, with a focus on natural language processing, and he has published more than 40 papers in journals indexed in Journal Citation Reports.
A.J. Serrano-López received a BS degree in Physics in 1996, an MS degree in Physics in 1998 and a Ph.D. degree in Electronics Engineering in 2002, from the University of Valencia. He is currently a full lecturer in the Department of Electronic Engineering and Director of the IDAL research group at the same university. His research interests are focused on the application of machine learning methods, especially in the field of anomaly detection. He has participated in more than 30 competitive projects with more than 60 international publications.
S. Pérez-Díaz (B.Sc. Mathematics 1998, Ph.D. Physics 2003) is the first full professor in the Dept. of Physics and Mathematics at the University of Alcalá (2022). She received in 2021 the international prize "lnternational Partnership Award for Scientists of Chinese Academy of Sciencies (Beijing, China)", which was awarded for the first time to a woman and for the first time in the area of mathematics. With more than 80 publications and four scientific books, she has participated in more than 20 competitive research projects and as speaker or organizer in more than 45 national and international congresses and conferences. Her main works are framed in the contributions obtained in the field of Algebraic Geometry, Symbolic Computation and in general, in the foundations, algorithms and applications of algebraic curves and surfaces.
