Dr. Palash Chandra Maity is a distinguished immunologist specializing in B-cell receptor signaling. He earned Ph.D. in biotechnology (2010) from the University of Calcutta. He completed his habilitation in immunology at the University of Ulm in 2020. He currently leads a research group focusing on immunotherapy and translational lymphoma research at the Institute of Experimental Cancer Research, University of Ulm, Medical Faculty. His work in molecular immunology and transnational B cell research has resulted in numerous publications, presentations, lectures, and courses, and in significant research funding, including a prestigious grant from the Fritz Thyssen Stiftung. His research interests include B-cell receptor signaling, the pathogenesis of leukemia and lymphoma, and the development of targeted immunotherapies.
