Jean-Denis Brassard currently works at the Department of Applied Sciences (DSA), University of Québec in Chicoutimi as a Professor. He graduated from the same university and received his B. Eng. in Applied Sciences, M.S. in Applied Sciences, and Ph.D. in Applied Sciences. He is also a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec. He has been nomitated as Honoris Genius Research and Teaching engineer of the year in 2024. He does research in Aerospace Engineering, Atmospheric Ice Engineering, and Materials Engineering.
