Sladjana Barjaktarovic Rakocevic is a professor at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Organizational Sciences,
Department of Financial Management and Accounting. Her research interests include financial institutions, the banking industry, fintech, financial performance, managerial accounting, and capital markets. Slađana Barjaktarović Rakočević teaches courses in Managerial Accounting, Banking Management, Investment Banking, Financial Institutions Management, Evaluation of Business Performance, Financial Technologies in Financial Services, and Investment Analysis on all three study levels. She was a mentor or a member of the committee on over 80 graduate theses, over 190 master's theses, 5 specialist academic theses, and 2 doctoral dissertations. Slađana Barjaktarović Rakočević has been a visiting professor at universities in France, Slovenia, Croatia, and Germany. She has conducted study visits to the US, the University of Illinois, and the NYSE (New York Stock Exchange). She is the author of several monographs as well as numerous scientific and research papers. She was Vice-Dean for international cooperation at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade. Sladjana is also a member of several editorial boards of scientific journals. She is a member of the European Finance Association (EFA) and CEEMAN (Central and East European Management Association).
Nela Rakic is a researcher and teaching assistant at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Organizational Sciences. The
Faculty of Organizational Sciences, as part of the University of Belgrade, is the leading faculty in Serbia and the region in the field of information systems and technologies, organization, and management. Her main fields of interest are managerial accounting, behavioral sciences, and bank management. She is engaged in exercises at undergraduate and master studies within the following subjects: Banking Management, Management Accounting, and Financial Institutions. Nela Rakic achieved her MSc degree in Financial Management at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the University of Belgrade and a visiting researcher at Maastricht University and Tilburg University. From February to July 2018, Nela Rakic was on a professional exchange within the Erasmus+ project at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Leuven, in Belgium, under the mentorship of professor Eddy Cardinaels. The goal of the professional exchange is improvement in the field of experimental design within Management Accounting. She gained professional experience through a number of national and international research projects, and has published numerous papers in scientific journals, conference proceedings, and monographs. Nela Rakic gained practical knowledge working as an academic fellow in several banks in Serbia.
Mr Rade Rakočević Ph.D is a capital markets expert with 30+ years of experience, serial investors, and is a speaker and
educator. He was CEO and owner of stockbroker company Senzal Belgrade from 2000-2007, with total turnover of more than EUR1B and branches in Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. After the successful acquisition of Senzal by KBC Securities Belgium in 2007, Mr Rakočević founded Senzal Capital Belgrade, a wealth management company and family office. Mr Rakočević holds an M.S. from the Faculty of Economics, Belgrade and a Ph.D from the Faculty of Political Science, Belgrade. Mr Rakočević gives speeches and holds courses about financial literacy and stock market investing.
