Yajnaseni Dash currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at the School of Artificial Intelligence at Bennett University. She earned her PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, in 2022. Her research interests span many topics encompassing artificial intelligence, climate change, healthcare, and computational real-world applications. Dr. Dash has received recognition for her contributions, including the Austin Student Travel Grant from the American Geophysical Union, the Research Scholar Travel Award from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, and the Best Paper Award from an IEEE conference. Additionally, she has been honored with a National Science Foundation (NSF) travel grant and a World Bank Trust Fund for Statistical Capacity Building (WB TFSCB) grant. She has published several research papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
Vinayak Gupta is pursuing his Master's in Technology at the School of Computer Science and Technology (SCSET) at Bennett University, where he is honing his expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. As an active student member of IEEE, he is deeply engaged in innovative research with a special focus on AI’s transformative impact in multidisciplinary approaches, particularly through computer vision and explainable AI. His academic journey is centered around developing ethical AI systems, ensuring transparency, and building trust-based AI models that prioritize human welfare. His work extends into natural language processing and AI applications in autonomous systems, aiming to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world challenges. Through his research and projects, Vinayak aspires to contribute meaningfully to advancements in technology while fostering innovation in a collaborative environment.
PROF. Ajith Abraham is currently serving as Vice Chancellor at Sai
University, Chennai, India. He was the Vice Chancellor and founding dean
of the School of Artificial Intelligence at Bennett University, Greater
Noida; Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Mathematical Sciences,
FLAME University, Pune; and the founding director of the Machine
Intelligence Research Laboratories (MIR Labs), USA. He received the
B.Tech. (Hons) degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the
University of Calicut in 1990, the M.S. degree from Nanyang
Technological University, Singapore, in 1998, and the Ph.D. degree in
computer science (artificial intelligence) from Monash University,
Melbourne, Australia, in 2001. During the last 25 years, he has
authored/co-authored more than 1,500+ research publications with more
than 63,000+ academic citations, according to Google Scholar. He was the
chair of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Technical
Committee on Soft Computing (which has more than 200 members) from 2008
to 2021. He was the editor-in-chief of Engineering Applications of
Artificial Intelligence (EAAI) from 2016 to 2021. He serves/served on
the editorial board for over 15 international journals indexed by
Thomson ISI. He served as a distinguished lecturer for the IEEE Computer
Society representing Europe from 2011 to 2013.
