Author Biographies

Prof. Jorge Magalhães Rodrigues is a researcher at the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences of the University of Porto (ICBAS). He earned an MSc in Psychology. His publications and studies are focused on the effects of complementary therapies on mental health. In addition, he is a researcher at the Center of BioSciences in Integrative Health (CBSin), a university teacher at the Atlântico Business School’s Health Level (ABS), and an invited teacher at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP).
Ana Sofia Cruz is a Master in Clinical and Health Psychology in the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto, with a 3-year training in a Nursing degree. She has an advanced course in Psychological Counseling and Psychotherapy with Children and Adolescents, and an internship at the service of medical oncology at the São João University Hospital of Porto.
Professor Doctor Cristina Queirós is an associate professor in the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto. In addition, she is a member of the council of the Psychology department, director and president of the scientific council of the Master in Psychology topics, director of the Laboratory of Psychosocial Rehabilitation, and responsible for the continuous education programs of first psychological aid in crisis and catastrophe and Management of stress and burnout prevention.
