Vicente Garibay Febles is a researcher from the Microscopy Laboratory, Mexican Petroleum Institute, Mexico City, Mexico. He received his doctorate degree in Material Science and Metallurgy from the School of Chemistry and Extractive Industries, National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico City. From 2003, he has been the head of the electron microscopy laboratory. His research interests lie in the applications of nanomaterials in different industries. His main experience is in the development and characterization of catalytic materials, intermetallic and bidimensional nanomaterials, carbon nanotubes, and graphene, among others using electron and atomic force microscopy.
