Professor Fan Yang is a faculty member at the School of Geographical Sciences, Nantong University. He earned his Ph.D. from Wuhan University in 2019. His teaching and research focus on urban information modeling, virtual digital earth, and mobile laser scanning. He is responsible for undergraduate and graduate courses such as urban information model application and development, web programming, 3D modeling with UAV data, and GIS 3D modeling.
Lei Yang earned an academic master's degree in civil engineering from Nantong University in June 2024. During his studies, he published two articles in the journal Sensors. He is now employed at a smart building company in Nanjing. His research interests include the rapid detection of building defects and smart building applications.
Yunjie Wu is a graduate student who started pursuing an academic master's degree in civil engineering at the School of Transportation and Civil Engineering, Nantong University, in 2022. Her research focuses on urban planning and environmental management. She has published an article in an MDPI journal.
Professor Peng Qian is a faculty member at the School of Geographical Sciences, Nantong University. He graduated from Jilin University in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in science, obtained his master's degree in science from Nanjing University in 2003, and earned his Ph.D. in science from East China Normal University in 2012. He has been working at the School of Geographical Sciences, Nantong University, since 2003. His research focuses on mineralology, ore deposit studies, and geochemistry. Professor Qian has published numerous high-quality papers in prestigious journals and has received multiple awards for his contributions.
