Montserrat Llasat-Botija (ORCID:0000-0001-9185-8907) is a Researcher on the Meteorological Hazards Analysis Team (GAMA) at the Department of Applied Physics of the University of Barcelona. Her research focuses on the analysis of the impact of flood events and compound flood events (on the Spanish Mediterranean coast), the development of databases on flood events and flood fatalities, citizen science projects and the improvement of public awareness of natural hazards. She has contributed to more than 30 publications, including book chapters and articles in indexed journals.
