David WARI received his PhD degree from the Okayama University in 2015. He has previously worked in Ibaraki Agricultural Research Center and is now pursuing a Post-Doc fellow in National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (current institution). He was previously awarded the prestigious JSPS fellowship at the Institute of Plant Science and Resources, Okayama University (2020~2023). In 2023, just after JSPS fellowship, he moved to National Agriculture and Food Research Organization and is currently conducting research as a Post-Doc fellow. His research topics mainly include Biological Control, Integrated Pest Management, Conservation Biological Control, and Crop Protection.
Junichiro ABE is currently the Principal Scientist at the Division of Crop Pest Control Research, Institute of Plant Protection (NIPP), National Agriculture and Rood Research Organization (NARO). He completed his PhD studies at the Kyushu University in 2003. He currently leads a variety of projects that involve crop protection using biological control. He has published more than 40 papers in various journals. His research disciplines include Conservation Biological Control, Integrated Pest Management, Biological Control, Applied Entomology, etc.
Toshio KITAMURA completed his post-graduate studies from the Okayama University in 1995. He is now the Senior Researcher in the Western Region Agricultural Center (WARC), National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO). His work in Applied Entomology has resulted in more than 20 publications as well as more than 50 presentations. His research interests include Whitefly Control, Insect Pest and Vector Control, Pest Management, and Chemical Control.
