Dr. Ana Marjanović Jeromela, Principal Research Fellow, received her PhD in 2005 in genetics and plant breeding. Her fields of expertise include genetics and breeding of oil crops, primarily rapeseed, breeding and cultivation of alternative oil crops, and research on the Brassicaceae collection. She has co-authored more than 20 oil crop cultivars. Since 2018, she has been the Head of the rapeseed and industrial crop breeding team. She coordinated the national project “Development of new varieties and improvement of new production technologies of oil crops for different purposes” in the period 2011–2019, as well as the bilateral project (Serbia–Austria) “Camelina—a sustainable oil plant species of the future” in the period 2016-2017, and “Evaluation for reintroduction of forgotten and under-utilized crops from Brassica sp. and Lathyrus sp.”, in the period 2020–2021.
