Prof. Dr. Junzhu Wu is a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Center for Experimental Teaching of Basic Medical Science, School of Basic Medical Science, Wuhan University. He completed his Ph.D., M.Sc., and B.Sc. studies at Wuhan University. He underwent post-doctoral training at the Université de Nancy 1 Henri Poincaré, France (2003–2004) and the State University of New York at Stony Brook, USA (2007). His research interests include the molecular mechanisms of atherosclerosis, oxidation mechanisms of low-density lipoprotein, and the high-efficiency expression of HNP-1.
