Prof. Kangil Choe is a Research Professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department of Hanyang University Erica Campus. He graduated from Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University in 1994 with his Ph.D. and M.S. after his M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from NYU-Polytech University. He has been leading 13 Korean Government-supported R&D projects in the area of Green Waste to Energy & Resources since he moved from Canada in 2015. Previously he served “The Association of Korean-Canadian Scientists and Engineers” as president and became the founding organizer of the annual Canada-Korea Conference. He has 36 years of R&D and business experience at various institutions such as universities, research centers and venture companies. He has received the Korean President Award twice and the Industry & Energy Ministry Award.
