Prof. Dr. Junguo Li is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, currently serving as the Dean of the School of Metallurgy and Energy, the Dean of the Metallurgical Engineering Research Institute, the Director of the Hebei Key Laboratory of Modern Metallurgy Technology, and the person in charge of establishing a national first-class undergraduate major in Metallurgical Engineering and a world-class discipline in the Hebei Province.
He is also a member of the Second Committee of the Metallurgical Reaction Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society for Metals, as well as of the Eighth Committee of the Academic Committee of Metallurgical Physical Chemistry of the Chinese Society for Nonferrous Metals. From 2008 to 2010, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Northeastern University and the Tangshan Iron and Steel Group. From 2015 to 2016, he was a visiting scholar at Michigan Technological University in the United States. He mainly engages in research on new steel-making processes, efficient resource utilization of metallurgical slag, and the ecological risk assessment of hazardous solid waste.
