Theopista Lotto is a PhD candidate in Epidemiology and Public Health at Swiss TPH. She holds an MSc in Health Monitoring and Evaluation from Mzumbe University and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Muhimbili University. She previously worked as a Research Scientist at Ifakara Health Institute and later served as an M&E Advisor for the CDC Project on Sustainable Health System Strengthening at Mzumbe University. Additionally, she worked as a backup pharmacist for the National Institute for Medical Research at the Mbeya Medical Research Center, contributing to various clinical trials. In later years, she became a Technical Expert Consultant for the Commonwealth Pharmacist Association. Her research interests include monitoring and evaluation, antimicrobial stewardship, epidemiological research, digital health solutions, and healthcare system strengthening.
