Lawrence Loendorf is the President of Sacred Sites Research, Inc. He is an archeologist who has specialized in rock art research for the past 60 years. He has received numerous awards and was recently given the Distinguished Service Award by the Plains Anthropological Society. He has had a long interest in North American pictographs and petroglyphs that is expressed by the publication of books and articles on rock art in the western United States from Montana to Texas.
