Dr. Seila Soler holds a cum laude Ph.D. in educational research from the University of Alicante and is currently a full-time professor at Isabel I University (Spain), where she coordinates the master’s Thesis in Secondary Education. She is an active member of UNIR's PREFAPLI Research Team, focusing on “Learning Preferences in Experimental Sciences” within secondary and higher education contexts. Additionally, she participates in the UA Network for Gender Opportunities in Higher Education. With a degree in History, Dr. Soler also has experience as an archaeologist and a secondary school teacher, conducting training courses for teachers at the Teacher Training Center (CEFIRE) with a focus on active methodologies. Her contributions to educational research include various articles and conference presentations on didactic methodologies, critical thinking, and education for older adults. In collaboration with Dr. Pablo Rosser, she initiated a pilot research project on the satisfaction, motivation, cognition, and well-being of UPUA students, laying the groundwork for their current research. She specializes in historical and educational research from the 19th to early 20th centuries and has developed innovative methodologies using QDA software, a central aspect of her doctoral thesis and subsequent publications. Dr. Soler is also skilled in quantitative analysis for educational research and thematic bibliometrics.
