Prof. Dr. J. M. A. Hannan received his Ph.D. in Pharmacology
from the University of Ulster, UK, in 2004 and received his Master of Pharmacy
from the Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 1992. He worked as
Associate Professor & Chairman at the Department of Pharmaceutical
Sciences, North South University (NSU), Dhaka, Bangladesh (1 April 2008–25
December 2010). He was promoted to Professor & Chairman in 2010. He moved
to the Department of Pharmacy, East West University (EWU), Dhaka, Bangladesh, and worked as a Professor from 22 July 2016 to 31 January 2018. In 2018, he
moved to the Department of Pharmacy, Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB),
Dhaka, Bangladesh, and working as a Professor & Head till present.
