Bo-Lin Jian received a B.S. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Formosa University, in 2009, an M.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 2011, and a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, National Cheng Kung University, in 2017. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Chin-Yi University of Technology, Taichung, Taiwan. His current research interests include signal and image processing, machine learning, and control systems.
Prof. Dr. Chieh-Li Chen (Senior Member, IEEE) received his B.S. degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1983. He then obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), UK, in 1987 and 1989, respectively, all in Control Engineering. He is a Professor at the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, National Cheng Kung University, where he currently teaches in the areas of automatic control and machine vision. His research interests include automation, optimization, nonlinear dynamics, robust control, machine vision, and energy system management.
