Prof. Benjamin Schumacher currently serves as a Professor of Physics at Kenyon College. He received his Bachelor of Arts at Hendrix College in 1982 and his Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin in 1990. He works in the field of quantum information theory, studying the relationships between quantum mechanics, information theory, computation, thermodynamics and black hole physics.
