Author Biographies

Carlo Angelo Mañago is an undergraduate Geodetic Engineering student at the University of the Philippines Diliman. His research focuses on urban mobility, urban design, city social dynamics, and transport networks. He also develops maps and data visualizations to analyze spatial and transport patterns. He plans to further his studies by integrating policy into social dynamics and mobility.
Marielle Nasalita is an undergraduate student at the University of the Philippines Diliman, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering. Her research interests include personal health innovations, social system dynamics, and environmental sustainability. She aspires to contribute to studies and projects that promote community development, particularly in the Philippines.
Mr. Cesar Villarama Saveron is an undergraduate student at the Department of Geodetic Engineering, University of the Philippines Diliman. His interests include land surveying, photogrammetry, urban design, and land development. He aims to further explore urban solutions and enhancements to better improve the quality of life in society, while also tackling land surveying on his future primary work.
Ynah Andrea D. Sunga is an undergraduate student in the University of the Philippines Diliman, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Geodetic Engineering. She has assisted on a dissertation about implementing Sustainable Development Goals at Multilateral Development Banks and interned at REECS, an organization focused on environmental and natural resource mapping for economic management. Currently, Ynah is looking forward to pursuing political and economic urban planning research, especially in the context of the Philippines.
Alexis Richard C. Claridades is an associate professor at the Department of Geodetic Engineering, University of the Philippines Diliman. He completed his PhD studies in Geoinformatics at the University of Seoul. His research topics mainly include Indoor GIS, 3D GIS, spatial data modeling, spatial data integration, spatial visualization, and spatial analysis. Prior to his appointment in DGE in 2014, he had a brief stint as a GIS specialist in Project NOAH (Nationwide Operational Assessment of Hazards). In Korea, he was involved in the ISO 19109 (Rules for Application Schema) revision project with the International Organization for Standardization and LX Korea, a digital-twin-oriented spatial data integration middleware project with the National Research Foundation of Korea, and a digital safety management technology development project with the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology. He has also been involved with several projects and activities with the Open Geospatial Consortium; the Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport; and the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement. In the Philippines, he was involved with the Integrated Assessment and Modelling of Blue Carbon Ecosystems for Conservation and Adaptive Management (IAMBlueCECAM) program for web mapping/visualization and suitability modeling, and the Phil-LiDAR 2 Program (Nationwide Detailed Resources Assessment Using Lidar), aiding in vulnerability assessment mapping.
