Dr John Maclay graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2000. He completed his PhD at the same institution in 2009. He is now a Respiratory Physician at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, UK, and specialises in lung cancer. Dr Maclay is an NRS Senior Research Fellow, and his particular research interests are in lung cancer diagnosis and staging, and optimising patient selection for treatment.
