Rinaldo Livio Perri is a researcher at University Niccolò Cusano, Rome. He also serves as a Lecturer of Neuropsychology (master’s degree course) at the Faculty of Psychology. Rinaldo Livio Perri completed his Bachelor of Psychological Sciences at the University of Chieti (2009), Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Padova (2011), and PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience at the University La Sapienza (2015). He then worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Rome “Foro Italico” in 2016–2017. His research areas include trait and state individual differences in perceptual decision-making; the role of the anterior insula in sensory processing; the role of hypnosis in somatosensory processing; and transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) to enhance attentional performance. Moreover, Rinaldo Livio Perri has received awards including “Best Scientific Contribution at the XXIII Congress of the Italian Society of Psychophysiology, 2015”, “Best Oral Presentation at the XXI Congress of the Italian Association of Psychology, 2015”, and the “Young Researcher Award of the University of Rome “la Sapienza”, 2015”.
