Prof. Dr. Claudio Gratton is a full professor at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He obtained his B.S. (Honors Biology) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1991. He completed his Ph.D. in Entomology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1997 and a Post-Doc from the University of Maryland in 2002. His research group works broadly in the field of the landscape ecology of arthropods in both agricultural and natural systems. They focus on understanding how land use and land cover interact with management  to develop ways to enhance and conserve beneficial insects. His Interests include landscape ecology, agroecology, conservation, pollination, biological control, and sustainability transitions.
