Dr. José Manuel Gómez-Soberón is a graduate
of BUAP (Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla of Mexico), a civil
engineer, and he has a master’s degree in construction. In 2002, he obtained
his doctorate in construction (Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain). Since
2002, he has been part of the staff of the Department of Architectural
Technology of the Higher Polytechnic School of Building of Barcelona, working
as a teacher and researcher. He has been a member of the National System of
Researchers of Mexico since 2018. His research topics include environmental
certification in construction, sustainable construction, deconstruction,
recycled concrete, construction waste, porous networks of concrete, circular
economy, and efficiency energy.
