Edson Zangiacomi Martinez received his Bachelor's degree in statistics at the State University of Campinas, Brazil, in 1995, and a Master's degree in statistics at the Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil, in 2001. He completed his Ph.D. in Medical Sciences at the State University of Campinas, Brazil, in 2003. His research topics mainly include epidemiology and biostatistics.
