Dr. Kateryna Ihnatenko is a Senior Researcher at Ilia State University, affiliated with the MSCA4Ukraine fellowship program. She organized a project titled "Identifying Effective Pathways to Reach Children and Adults with Disabilities among Refugees from Ukraine." Her experience includes educational, social, and health program development and implementation, policy advising, and development. Kateryna holds a PhD and serves as an Associate Professor of the Department of Social Work at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in Ukraine (2006-2023). Her expertise includes psychosocial support for orphans, humanitarian law, protection of refugees with disabilities, and developing social services for people with disabilities. Kateryna has extensive experience working in NGOs with orphans and foster families, as well as with children and adults affected by war and military actions. Dr. Shorena Sadzaglishvili holds a MSW from Columbia University and Doctorate in Psychology from Dr. Uznadze Institute of Psychology of Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Tbilisi, Georgia. Her experience includes educational, social and health program development and implementation, policy advising and development. She founded the first MSW Program in Georgia in 2007 and co-founded the Georgian Association of Social Workers (GASW) in 2004. Currently, she is directing both the MSW /PhD program at Ilia State University and the Research Centre for Advancing Science in the Social Services and Interventions at Ilia State University, Faculty of Arts and Science. Dr. Sadzaglishvili is a Chairperson of GASW, and the author of many scientific articles and books in Social Work and Education. She has developed several manuals/guidelines in clinical social work, family and children, program design and evaluation, social work research, and social work practice teaching. She received a 2014 Visiting Research Scholar Fulbright Award from NYU Silver School of Social Work. Her recent research interests focused on street-connected youth, social inclusion, immigration and mental health.
