Prof. Dr. Zhanyong Wang graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a doctorate in civil engineering in 2016. From January 2017 to July 2020, he was employed as a distinguished associate researcher at the School of Intelligent Engineering of Sun Yat-sen University, and a distinguished professor and associate professor at the School of Transportation and Civil Engineering of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. He has served as a member of the Technical Committee of the Interdisciplinary Department of the World Transportation Conference (WTC), a member of the International China Planning Society, and a member of the Intelligent Transportation Professional Committee of the China Artificial Intelligence Society. He is mainly engaged in research in the intersection of transportation and environment, such as traffic pollution statistics, road landscape and traffic pollution, and new technologies for air pollution measurement (such as drones, micro sensors, etc.).
