Prof. Hui Lin received a BS from Jiangsu University in 2008
and a PhD from Zhejiang University in 2013. She worked as a visiting scholar at
the James Hutton Institute in 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2020. Currently, she
is a researcher at the Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Pro. Lin is a
selected candidate for China's National High-level Talent (Agriculture) and
Provincial High-level Talent (Youth). She is the deputy director of the
Ecological Restoration Expert Committee of the Zhejiang Ecological and
Environmental Restoration Technology Association. She is a reviewer for the
Journal of Hazardous Materials and other journals. Her research interests
include the environmental effects of fertilization and new pollutants,
ecological microorganisms, and green agricultural inputs.
Prof. Xinhua is a distinguished professor at Southwest University. He received a BS from Southwest University in 1982, an MS from South China Agricultural University in 1991, and a PhD from the University of
Queensland. He is an editor of the International Journal of Plant and
Soil (Springer Nature) and Soil Research (CSIRO). His research interests
include the application of 15N/13C stable isotopes and DNA-SIP/nanoSIMS;
mycorrhizal networks and interplant nutrient movement; nutrient use efficiency
in C3 and C4 plants; plant–microbe–soil interactions; plant and soil responses to
elevated CO2; and the improvement of agriculture and forest soil fertility.
