Prof. Qingquan Liu graduated from China University of Mining and Technology with a doctorate in safety science and engineering in 2015, and stayed on to teach at the university. He is a professor and a doctoral supervisor at the School of Safety Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology. He is a senior Humboldt scholar in Germany. He is mainly engaged in the research of mine gas disaster prevention, porous media flow, and CO2 geological storage. He serves as deputy director of the Institute of Gas Control and Dual Carbon Technology, party branch secretary (fourth party branch), and deputy director of the Young Teachers Development Committee of the School of Safety Engineering. He is also a Young Member of the Gas Disaster Prevention and Utilization Professional Committee of the China Occupational Safety and Health Association.
