Assistant Professor Krystian Kwieciński is a faculty member at the Faculty of Architecture at Warsaw University of Technology (WUT). He serves as the Director of the Architecture for Society of Knowledge (ASK) program and is an international Master of Science in Architecture at WUT. He completed his PhD in 2021 at WUT, focusing on the impact of computerization on user participation in the design process of residential spaces, and developed HOPLA-Home Planner, a digital tool for the mass customization of houses. He holds a Master of Advanced Architecture from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IaaC) and graduated from the ASK program in 2012. He has been awarded scholarships from the Center for Advanced Studies and the Fulbright Commission, enabling research at the Instituto Universitario de Lisboa in Portugal and the SCDC at Penn State University. Krystian Kwieciński has published numerous papers in academic journals and serves as a researcher and contributor to projects focused on pro-ecological design and digital tools in architecture. His teaching disciplines include computational design, pro-ecological strategies, and user-centered architectural processes. His research interests encompass digital simulations, sustainable design methodologies, and the integration of advanced technologies in architecture.
