Prof. Chaim G. Pick is a Full Professor and
Neuroscience and sports researcher in the Department of Anatomy and
Anthropology, Faculty of Medicine, and Sylvan Adams Sports Institute, Tel Aviv
University, Israel. He obtained his PhD from the Hebrew University of
Jerusalem, Israel, and completed his post-doctoral research at the Memorial
Sloan Kettering Research Center in New York, NY, USA. Prof. Pick’s research
primarily includes traumatic brain injury and pain in individuals with
intellectual disabilities. His research on traumatic brain injuries consists of
those caused by both blunt force and blasts, across various degrees of severity
(mild, moderate, and severe). Moreover, his research extends to the behavioral,
biochemical, and pharmacological assessment of these findings.
